[NMLUG] Cheap power supply replacement in town?

  • Subject: [NMLUG] Cheap power supply replacement in town?

My computer's power supply burned out. I'm tempted to buy a new one
(or cannibalize from a computer I no longer use) and install it
myself, but I figure it's safer/better to use a professional.

Everyone in town wants to charge me $50 for the power supply + at
least $40/hour for labor, minimum 1 hour, for a total of $90. I know
that $40/hour isn't bad for labor, but I also know it won't take an
hour to install a power supply.

Any suggestions?
