[NMLUG] Sabayon 3.3 initially disappointing
Yes, the nvidia drivers are free as in beer, but not open source, and
available as binary only downloads. If you got the nvidia splash screen,
then it's using them.
But yeah, if Mandriva works for you, customizing your build parameters isn't
something you do on a regular basis, then why stop using something that
works?
