[NMLUG] Renting virtual appliances instead of VPSs?
You mean 'managed services' right? There is a price point for that
already, do I misinterpret your post? In most VPS systems you can
make a check point that is your base containing your base system
configured as you describe. After the base system is install why not
just configure the system to spec? Just because apache is installed
and configured doesn't' mean it has to be listening to any ports...
