[NMLUG] Speaking of monitors...



Nice.
   
  After some more research I find that there are linux distro's out there that "almost" support my machine.  This is running a MIPS processor, NEC R10000 to be exact.  Turns out that most of the MIPS distros support the R5000 and none of them support the R10000.
   
  The janitors will not be happy having to lug that beast to the dumpster when I toss it in my wastebasket.

That exemplifies the ultimate fate of proprietary systems. You can
still run Linux 0.1 on any x86 machine.
