[NMLUG] Asus M2V not for Linux



A dead battery will still allow the MB to boot. All you'll lose is 
any custom settings and the date/time. 

Bad RAM will still give you beep codes. Sounds like the bios boot 
block is corrupted or something on the mamaboard is fried if you 
don't even get any POST codes.

If you have access to a replacement bios chip, you can try that (if 
it's socketed) otherwise it's new mainboard time.
