Linuxchix (http://linuxchix.org/) is a global Linux mailing list that is aimed
specifically at women, though anyone is welcome to join. The lists are very
friendly and very international. Probably not in the "tens of thousands of
users" range (you might try debian-users or whatever your distro has for
that), but I'm not sure having more people on a list is always helpful.
