[NMLUG] Linux Install Fest Las Vegas

Thanks for the input everyone.
We plan to have the next Linux Install Fest at Luna Community College
in two months. No exact date yet. I want to get together with Mathew
Bowie and Kevin Murphy at LCC and work out a date.

We are also having regular LVLUG meetings here at the Outfit on the
second Friday of each month at 6:00 PM.
The Outfit is a PC service shop at 801 Douglas Ave. Suite #1 Las Vegas

NMLUG, if you could post this on you web site under meetings that
would be very cool. Anyway, I don't know if it will work to have a
LInux Install Fest at United World College because of the closed gate
policy there, nevertheless we hope to involve UWC in our group in the
future. Yes, Adam tried to get the students of UWC to come to the
Install Fest as did I, but they had a conflict with another activity.
Better luck next time, for sure.

The NMHU Professor who hosted this Install Fest on Saturday suggests
we add more events to the next Fest.

Yes, the LinuxFest went well. I am thinking we might
want to consider another one with a different format -
the movie, ths installs, the camaraderia PLUS a series
of short workshops running in parallel:

Linux as an OS
Linux in the Office
Linux for Multemedia
Linux and Programming
Linux as a connectivity tool
Linux ....
