[NMLUG] Upgrading to new distro
Hi Lee,
I'm not familiar w/ the version of Mozilla your running, but here is some
general advice.
Use the export feature to export everything you want into every format it
offers. Chances are that the new versions of everything will be able to
read ONE of those formats. And if not, me or someone else on this list can
probably write a quick script to convert them to an importable format.
Another option you have is to boot up to a Live CD that has the versions of
Firefox and Thunderbird you are planning to use. Then you can see if it can
import it directly before you do the actual upgrade.
Hope this helps,
Matthew Bowie
