I appreciate that info.  I've often wondered how much power my smoothwall
might be pulling.  The reason I use the smoothwall over the router box is the
same reason that Sarang might want to use it.  More control, more
flexibility, more power.

Specifically, he specified that he wanted complete and flexible IP packet
logging to a hard drive.

On another note, do you have figures laying around for how much power/money a
monitor would pull?  Say, 17" crt vs an LCD?
