[NMLUG] figuring out onlinefilefolder.com
- Subject: [NMLUG] figuring out onlinefilefolder.com

I'm trying to figure out a couple of things about onlinefilefolder.com,
and have setup a shared account in case anyone wants to help:
URL: https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/?username=nmslug
Username: nmslug
Password: vans4cage
[I realize the NMLUG/NMOSUG list may be publicly mirrored, so won't leave
this up and running as a "public file share" forever. I've also confirmed
that people w/ access can't change passwords, etc]
What I'm trying to figure out:
% How can I upload/download files from onlinefilefolder.com without using
their web interface? I realize I could write a script that mimics
uploading using their form, but this seems kludgy-- they do have a Windows
(not Linux) "synchronization tool", which suggests they're probably using
SOME established protocol to transfer files (in addition to the web
interface), but I can't figure out what it is.
% How can I mimic their encryption algorithim? They claim it's Rijndael-256
(https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/help/index.html#encryptingfiles), but I
can't get "mcrypt -a rijndael-256" (tried MANY variations on this) to
encrypt files the same way they do. Ideally, I'd like to encrypt files
locally so they can be decrypted online, and vica versa.
