A good, inside insight letter.
Message-based kernels might be more like QNX, the real-time OS for PC
archetectures (originally).

The insight he may have missed is that there will continue to be a need
for a small kernel for RT and embedded devices (routers, PDAs, printers,
embedded controllers...).
A schism might be on the horizon.
