Ah, yes...I should have been more specific...The actiontec qwest sent
*me* runs linux...It's a GT701-wg.

I thought I had read that it uses GNU/Linux.  

One persistent issue I've had with the GT701-wg is that it doesn't seem to handle IPv6.  With both SuSE 9.1 and 9.2, I've had to go in and reconfigure the OS to NOT use IPv6.  Then it works well.  

And yes, the wireless is *really* convenient to use.

And yes, I know about NOT using encryption....where I live, I am impervious to all but wardriving, unless I hook up my microwave dish on the roof, and my WiFi amp.
