As a longtime (6yr) SuSE user, the release of Sarge doesn't directly
affect me, but I think that because of the inordinate ammount of time it
took to release sarge, this does indeed merit celebration.....:-)
Actually, any milestone in the GNU/Linux user community warrants
celebration/recognition.
I'm curious, though. What are sdm and lessdisks? Google says something
about: flexible diskless xterminal system. Is this one and the same
thing? I'm advertising my ignorance here!
Anyway, I'd say this warrants a beer or two. It has been several years
since our group got together for a brew after a meeting, or for any
other occasion that I can think of. If anyone's up for a casual beer or
cola again, we could actually celebrate Sarge's release.
Any takers?
I've never met anyone personally whom I knew actually contributed code
to Linux. Congratulations on your contributions to code that we can all
use!!
