[NMLUG] 64-bit SuSE



  Not to start a flame war or anything, but have you considered trying 
Gentoo?  Not suggesting you stay there, just that you might have some 
success with installation, which could give you insight into a SUSE install. 
Of course, the Gentoo install could fall completely flat too, and then you'd 
probably have even less of an idea how to proceed...

  I've got a couple of dual Xeon boxes with SATA HD on them.  They are 
currently running MS Server 2003, eek!

  So, I have slightly more than academic interest...  but only slightly as I 
probably wouldn't be allowed to leave them running Linux/GNU.

  Definitely best of luck, though.
