sorry to reply to myself, but my guess is that this
is spanking new HW with SATA drive(s).
Perhaps 9.2 does not ship with that driver.
Either way, how do I get a floppy that SuSE will respect?
Where can I get some sort of minimal ftp install
boot floppy to try?
