I have been having trouble lately (using Cisco 675), and as usual,
QWest is claiming internal wiring or the Router.

The tech at QWest, said the older DSL circuits and the Cisco 675
are the most reliable setup they support.
If I "upgrade" to faster DSL, it would most likely be a less
reliable connection.

However, since things seem kind of broke anyway, I may as well
upgrade while I'm at it.

The QWest tech said that the new modems they give with a contract
(Is that the Actiontec?) are a lot cheaper, but not as reliable
as the Cisco 678... So I'm currently bidding on some 678's at eBay.
He said I would need a 678 (or other newer modem) that uses a differen
circuit to get the higher bandwidth.

Not that I trust QWest, but this tech seemed honest, and he actually
recomeded that look for a Cisco 678 on eBay if I want to upgrade.
(He recommended AGAINST upgrade, if QoS was a big concern for me
though...)
