I don't remember where I first heard of it, but seen it work a few
times. (and not work many more than it did work)
Freeze the drive good, hook up and grab data as fast as you can. When
it hangs up again, repeat.

I ended up getting most of the important stuff off of the drive before I
sent
it back for warranty, but I'm very curious to hear about your freezer
story.
How did you come up with the idea to put your drive in the freezer and
did
you operate it while it was in the freezer or just hooked up that frozen
drive to a PC?
