[NMLUG] PC Resurrection with Debian

I have not had the pleasure of ripping anything on this machine yet.
I will tell you though that a friend of mine has modded his xbox to run
linux. He rips all of his DVD's and puts them on a network drive. He can
then play them from either of his 2 xbox/linux systems.
I've seen articles talking about the $150 PC (xbox/linux) and how MS hates
seeing their xboxes turned into linux PC's.
Here's a website if you would like to do a little checking around.
In the meantime though, I do have some DVD-rips on my server that I will try
playing. I'll let you know how the performance is. I don't have a fancy
video card in this machine so I'm thinking that the playback will be choppy
at best.
