I have a couple of old externals....a USR and a Zoom. One is 28K,
and the other is 34K. They might both be flashable to a higher
firmware version which supports newer protocols. Don't know....but
they both have the wall-wart power adapter, and I know I have a couple
of the serial cords they will both require.

The Civic Plaza offers free WiFi...:-( There are several McPuke
Burger joints in town which have ethernet jacks at every
booth......but having to eat the nasty plastic which they pawn off as
"food" in order to connect sounds like "quite a bargain"

NOT SO MUCH!

On UNM campus, there are many public locations which offer the public
ethernet jacks for connections. Like the SUB Student Union Building,
and many others. DHCP, and bingo, you're on!

Write back for any further info you might need!
