[NMLUG] big disks
I'm doing some stuff at work with the new LaCie 1TB drives. They are
actually (4) 250Gb drives spanned together in hardware. I connect them
via Firewire 800 and I can format them to a full 940Gb on one volume.
I actually have 5 of them striped RAID5 with mdadm and have a 3.7 TB volume.
The "fun" (urgh..) part is consistent device ids and the RAID config.
Any experience on this out there?
