[NMLUG] procmail is dead!

For some reason procmail is no longer processing my mail.  Any thoughts? 
  places or things to check?

the only thing I can think of is that an up2date on the Red Hat system 
in question may have caused something to break.  All of the mailboxes 
with .procmailrc's are experiencing the same problem, so I know it's a 
system-wide problem.

I'm stumped, but I mostly have to get my spam filter back online.  I'm 
drowning here!
