aargh... stupid Outlook at work won't let me see the

Looks like it might be a real hardware failure.
While attempting to recover, I lost the first
partition now, too (spun the disk up a couple of times
while trying to boot from a FreeBSD rescue disk and Knoppix)
It might be really dead now...
