[NMLUG] mailman auto-reject

I'm having some serious spam problems on some mailman lists.

Yes, I do intend to install spamAssassin, but I'm kind of busy
now and it will have to wait until I can build a new server.
(My current FreeBSD server is kind of messed up, and I can't
use ports any more... Instead of fixing, I will repleace)

Is there a way (or a new version of mailman) where I can
AUTOMATICLY reject postings from non-list members?
That would almost totally solve the problem.
Since rejection notices contain the owner- address,
reasonable postings can still get through if they
contact me directly.
