These work for sure:

1) Pine   2) Mozilla Thunderbird   3)  Ximian/Novell Evolution
(at least it's true with my UW version of imapd)

If you're going to use something like evolution, make sure to tell it
you're using remote imap access, even though you're simply looping back to
your local machine.  Otherwise, it'll take all your local mail and convert
it to its own format.  Neall
