[NMLUG] Video Card Recommendations



There were older ATI Radeon cards made in the PCI form factor, that
would work well for what you want.

Also, the Matrox G4x0 series was, and is, nice for Linux. Extremely
fast for 2d, will do some 3d (but slowly), very well supported, and
you can get it in PCI.
