Actually, I asked my question only partly to make a point. It was also a
serious question aimed at Robert:
Would you have said anything differently if you'd known that Don runs FreeBSD,
not Linux? (Don, I can't remember if you run Linux at all so we'll consider
this hypothetical.)
How do you determine who gets your lecture? Do you give it automatically
because "Linux" is in the name of this mailing list, or do you just assume
everyone here runs Linux?
I'm really not trying to be a smartass; I'm genuinly interested in the answer.
