Here is one (the first match on google for "linux advocacy FAQ"):

pretty much just a big rant, focused on antimosity towards ESR, mostly.
Also,
<http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue14/advocate.html>, which refers to
itself as the "Linux Advocacy HOWTO" in it's User Groups guidelines.
Most of the guidelines aren't bad, and are pretty common-sense. I don't
agree with all of them, however.
Both seem completely tangential to important issues, like *freedom*,
which strikes me as a bit odd.
