I've had good luck with Mandrake in the past, and still run Cooker (the
Mandrake development version) on a few machines at home & at work.
Although I mostly run Debian now, I still recommend Mandrake as a good
choice, particularly for desktop, as opposed to development or
engineering, use.
I haven't ever done a fresh install with 10, but I doubt you'll have
many troubles: Mandrake is pretty user-friendly both during the install
and during operation. Of course, post here if you have any unresolvable
trouble and somebody's bound to be able to help. =)
