[NMLUG] dhcpd.conf file for Comcast cable internet in SF
thanks, Jason. installed dhclient and dhcp(d) and everything works.
dhclient appears to be a front-end interface to the dhcpd daemon.
when started, dhclient reports a very long lease time: 265000sec (about
3days). is this number to be trusted?
Comcast's network appears to be masked by 68.35.255.255 (about 64000 adresses
- they are doing well at 50 bucks per address/per month)
their gateways appear to be all addressed as: 68.35.*.129
