[NMLUG] Couple of samba questions.

I wasn't able to get any response trying to do a mount so I tried to just use
smbclient.  I tried this on my home lan.  My XP Pro box is named hp and is
not part of a domain.  My Linux box is named debian (fitting isn't it?)
running debian/testing and Samba 3.0.2a.

smbclient -L debian responds with the usual listing of shares available. 
smbclient -L hp just hangs....no response at all.  I can ^C to exit. 
smbmount hangs as well without performing anything.  I can only suspect the
same will happen at work with the NT domain component added.
