wxWindows is a GUI toolkit, like GTK, Qt, FOX, Motif, etc. If their
software is written using wxWindows, that means that at least the GUI
part of their program is cross-platform.

However, this is only meaningful if:

  1) Everything else in their program is cross-platform as well.
  2) Somebody compiles it for Linux, meaning either:
2a) ... they give you the source code, or
2b) ... they decide they feel like compiling it for you.

Nothing on their site mentions support for any other platform besides
Microsoft, however, and they explicitly say: "Agent supports Windows
95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, & XP", so I wouldn't hold your breath.

That said, there are plenty of Free Software newsgroup readers for
Linux. Looking at Fort?'s advertized "feature-list" on their web site,
it doesn't seem like Agent is really all that amazing...
