[NMLUG] Fully functional Linux-Samba to WinXP - smb.conf
XP, 2000, 98, 95 and NT. About 1300 total clients, and about 40-ish of
those are windows XP.
For almost everything, identical configs will work for XP that work for
NT and 2000. The only kicker is a needed registry hack on 2.2.X (NOT
needed on 3.0, to my knowledge).
As for sharing conf files, it depends - what's your situation? What
authentication method do you plan to use? How many clients? All on the
same segment, or is this a WAN scenario?
What issues, specifically are you having with domain logins?
