[NMLUG] Codeweavers Crossover Office 2.1

I am impressed with Crossover Office 2.1, which actually has been out
since October. I installed Photoshop 7 and Dreamweaver MX on my
Mandrake 9.2 system without a hitch. Well, actually it's best to be
online during installation, as in each case XO had to download a
supplemental file, but it did so automatically.
Now I will try some "unsupported" apps, the first in the queue being
Namo WebEditor 5.5. You probably have never heard of Namo because you
don't use Windows, and probably haven't heard of it even if you DO use
Windows; I find it the clearest web editor (less obfuscation) I have
yet tried (www.namo.com).
Another bright light on the horizon is that XO supports several MS
Win2000 and XP apps. The newest versions of Adobe apps (the "Creative
Suite") will only run on W2000/XP (hmmmm... conspiracy). Maybe they
will run on XO?? The same for Macromedia's latest releases.
Hey, we can have our cake and eat it, too!

PS: For you SuSE fans, SuSE includes Crossover Office 2.1, Crossover
Plugins 2.1 and the latest release of WineX in a package named
"Winerack".
