[NMLUG] Fast X Distribution for older hardware.



I highly suggest you try a base install of whatever you want to use, I would 
try FreeBSD or OpenBSD, I have run them on far less machines.  As a matter of 
fact, I have a pII 300 with 256MB RAM and 2 4GB hard drives, that runs 
FreeBSD with Gnome and it screams.  Just tweak the kernel and it should fly.
