Thanks, Jody. It's useful, too! I can't take complete credit; I got a 
barrage of good suggestions from freebsd-questions@freebsd.org but the 
final is my own combination of all. The actual tool that this is a part 
of is really keen, but I don't know if Sandia'll let me release it. I've 
already started the request process, and there is some precedent.
