[NMLUG] backup storage trade

NOPE.  I was blissfully ignoring that thread, perfectly
happy with my occational CD-ROM backup.

Until, like many, I got hit.

Now that I can get 200G for $50, multiple copies of critical
data makes sense.

I have never had terrabytes at home.  Perhaps at work, but
other people DO have DLT and back those up daily.

Now I have enough disks for 2 copies of everything, on 2 machines
at home, and want to push critical stuff to a remote location.

I have no problems with DD or ghost, its just that I
have never had extra (matching?) HDD's.  I still don't.
I'd rather use good-old tar, dump, etc...
