I long ago suggested to Aaron that he make hard drive backups via dd
or Ghost, but he said NO NO NO because he only works with tape,
because he is dealing with TERABYTES of data. This is what he wants to
back up on your machine?

I have hard drives in mobile docking cartridges. I pop in a slave
(same model, architecture as master), clone a backup, then move the
backup drive elsewhere for safekeeping.
