I have one fundamental problem with that.

I wouldnt spend my money where it goes to a country which simply does not have
its act together.  Russian government is the most corrupt example of
governance out there (in addition to many countries in the middle east).
In fact this is one shining example of a how US media businesses cut a deal
with that corrupt government.

I would much rather find a way to spend my money domestically where I can
potentially have greater impact.
Spending your money overseas is not going to make a fundamentally
unConstitutional law go away.

Corporate institutions wont get a clue unless we outright voice our
disapproval.  As you know most of the innovative company's of the 90's were
legislated out of business.

Basically what your suggesting is a passive aggressive solution to a problem
that has to be faced head on.
