[NMLUG] NetBSD on SS5 problems.

So, I've been pulling my hair out trying to get this stupid netbsd installed on my sparcstation5/170. I thought I was having problems trying to identify my CD drives. I have a separate CD stack that came with this that has 6 CD drives in it. I was just assuming that the top CD was cd0. On a whim I threw the multi-cd1 (install) disk in the bottom drive and tried to install yet again. Surprise, surprise, surprise !!!! (to quote gomer pyle) Install was as simple as I had hoped it would be in the beginning.

Sorry for being such a lunkhead to all the folks that had to read my past postings on this.

I'm sure you've all heard the joke about the tech support guy fielding a phone call from an irate customer that couldn't get his computer to work. After much troubleshooting it turns out it was never plugged into the electrical socket. I'm very red-faced at this moment.

Cheers all!!!
