[NMLUG] sparcstation 5



I've personally found Sparc linux to be lacking.  We run some solaris here but
I'm really not into Solaris *at all*, it consistantly disappoints me because
it's a commercial distro.  This is ofcourse only my opinon, you ought to try it
out and see what you think.  The sparc you have will likely run a desktop os
like a pc would but it will feel sluggish.  You gotta figure that hardware is
probably > 6-7 years old.  Long live ancient sun hardware!!!!  :-)
