[NMLUG] sparcstation 5
You can get the funky Sun to RGB connector cables (some better monitors
have both RGB and VGA connectors). For that you might want to look at
Cables 'n More (www.cablesnmor.com). You should have no problem with
hooking the thin clients up and doing tftp boots on them unless they are
the Sun 386i disasters.
The Sparc 5 should have enough power to most things you want it to do.
Is it running SunOS 4.x or Solaris, btw? Also, I have seen Sparc Linux
up and running on a Sparc 1 (those were actually underrated machines)
without too much of problem.
