[NMLUG] numlock ON

Well, I like numlock on for doing my bookkeeping in Gnucash . . . :-)

It's WAY faster to type numbers on the 10-key -- for me, it's faster to move 
over to the 10 key and type a number than to type it above the letters, even 
if it's just a phone number.  And if you ever use a software calculator on 
your computer, 10-key is much faster for that, too.

If you use KDE, you can change per-user whether numlock is on or off in the 
Control Center under Peripherals -> Keyboard.

If you use GNOME, it looks like it's a little harder, but this page might help

Hooray for the choice of having numlock on or off!  :-D
