7:00 - 7:15pm Member Items
7:15 - 8:30pm Presentation: Red Hat Licensing
Red Hat Enterprise Linux is sold by annual subscription, runs on seven
system architectures, and is certified by top enterprise software and
hardware vendors. It's backed by a Red Hat Network subscription up to 24x7
support with one-hour response, and the Red Hat Open Source Assurance
program.
Designed for today's commercial environments it is sold in three products
that span client systems to the largest servers, It delivers a consistent
application, management, and user environment.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux is touted as the corporate Linux standard and claims
-from the desktop to the datacenter- to deliver unmatched performance and
cost savings, and the freedom of open source technology.
Find out about it and join in the ensuing discussion as to the viability of
this approach and its claims.
