i configured the card using netconfig. started the network (thanks to
yamato@swcp.com's phone call) and its up and running now.

These two cards use the ep driver in FreeBSD.  They are the same as
the 3c589.

This is a cardbus card.

Look for support in pcmcia_cs (or is that linux_cs).  I don't run
Linux, but these should give you some keywords to look for.
