Unlike you, SuSE recognized a built-in sound card where
others wouldn't.
SuSE will install nicely with fvwm! even today!
Thats why I choose it. I had it on a K6/200 which
isn't really up to running gnome.
This installation had uptimes in the months.... until
the motherboard died 2 months ago. But thats hardware.
