[NMLUG] Linux Newbie Intro

Hi,
      I'm a newbie trying to get a feel for the lay of the land.

I know about linuxnewbie.org and freshmeat.

any other sites that you 'nix and/or 'nux heads can recommend?

I already have redhat 6.2 loaded (as the only OS) on my pc at home.
My pc is a pentium 90 with 80-something mb of ram and a 8.4 gig hd
I use Gnome with Sawfish (for the gui stuff), I'm a 3 month convert from
MS win95
(I like Linux better .... for the most part, still have to learn a lot
more though).

I know how to untar stuff.....  I know very basic ... simple commands.
I'm not afraid of the command line, but, realize ... I'm doing this as
purely a hobby for now.
