[NMLUG] Foreign Fonts

Hi,

I'm trying to learn how to use Foreign Fonts
with RedHat Linux (using Gnome and Sawfish WM/GUI)

I know it has something to do with the X server
I admit I'm a newbie, but this font thing seems to be harder than in
windows
*seems* to be ....

Is there a website where I can learn all about Linux and Foreign Fonts?
(I.E.  Arabic and Thai)
